Welcome to Black Sky Scanlations!

We're a relatively small group working on all kinds of BL (Shounen-ai, Danmei, Yaoi) comics and novels. At the moment, though, we are diligently working on historical Chinese BL comics and planning to work on more BL novels. Our work is completely fan-dedicated and all the content is owned by their respective authors/artists. We only own the translations. 

How we started

Our main inspiration was from the BL manhwa Tread Lightly on Thawing Ice (by Nichtigall). And the inspiration was driven by the great antagonist (sadly) Ye Jin-Rang. His black cultivation sect, Black Sky Sect, was the name our team derived from. And the sect itself is our base of inspiration. 

Our scanlation team stems from the original sect, Black Sky Sect, and so is our coordination. In comparison, our present blog stands as the sect under the black sky, led by the fanatics of Jin-Rang. Our Discord server acts as the realm of Black Sky, guarded by the Black Phoenix and Jin-Rang's legacy. Followed by different fans of the same source, BSS flourishes as a friendly and BL-loving group sharing a great quality of translations.
